About Children’s Heart Institute
Treating Pediatric Heart Conditions in Virginia and Maryland
The Children’s Heart Institute, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is a pediatric cardiology facility that provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for children with or is suspected of having heart disease. At the Children’s Heart Institute, we take a family approach to medical care. In addition to the attending pediatric cardiologist, the practice also utilizes the expert medical services of pediatric sub-specialists for non-cardiac problems.
The institute provides services for the unborn, children, and young adults up to 21 years of age. Adults with Congenital Heart Disease are treated in conjunction with their adult cardiologists and referring physicians.
