Dr. Zubairi joined the Children’s Heart Institute in 2011. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed dual residencies in internal medicine and pediatrics at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and pediatric electrophysiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Zubairi is certified by American Board of Pediatrics with a subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiology as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has authored several articles that have appeared in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings. His clinical interests include medical arrhythmia treatment, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation and maintenance, catheter ablation of arrhythmias, and the treatment of adults with congenital heart disease.
