Are there any physical features that should make me think that my child's Heart Murmur may be serious?

If your child has Down Syndrome . . . or:

If a girl is short compared to her siblings, has delayed puberty, a short webbed neck, and is slow at school, she may have Turner Syndrome with narrowing of the major systemic artery (coarctation of the aorta).
If your boy is short, has a funny looking-face, and is slow at school he may have Noonan Syndrome with narrowing of the pulmonic valve.

If your teen is excessively tall with long fingers and eye problems, she may have Marfan Syndrome, with weakness at the origin of the great systemic artery (a dilated aortic root).
