Ramiro Lizano, MD

Dr. Lizano Santamaria is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. A native of Quito, Ecuador, Dr. Lizano Santamaria received his medical degree from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito where he graduated Cum Laude with a minor in Psychology. After medical school, Dr. Lizano Santamaria completed his pediatrics residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia while also working as a research assistant at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Heart Center. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Lizano Santamaria’s clinical interests include: preventive cardiology, non-invasive cardiac imaging and heart function. In his free time, Dr. Lizano Santamaria enjoys traveling, reading, playing soccer, running, hiking, and spending time with his wife, family and friends
